#3) Sift the scone mix over the wet ingredients.

#4) Mix with a fork until combined (don’t over mix).

#5) Prep two sets of muffin pans; spray with non-stick spray or add a little flour to ensure the scones come clean away.

#6) Spoon the scone mix into the muffin pans.

#7) Mix the final egg and brush this on/over the tops of the mix.

#8) Bake in oven for 20 minutes (or until the tops are golden).

  1. This looks yum! I had a convo with a girl form the UK this week about whether the jam should go before the cream, or the cream before the jam when preparing your scone. Apparently there’s debate in the UK about which goes first, and the answer is – it all depends where you come from. 🙂

    1. Hi Madre

Thanks for the comment. Oh, my word – I had no idea I could be annoying communities with my placement of cream. How interesting! I will certainly be more mindful in the future. The other debate is whether you should roll and cut the scone dough (my theory – who has got time for that)!

Thanks for always taking time to comment.

      Warm regards
